Contract Consultant:  San Francisco

The Senior Diversity Consultant will report to the Director of Diversity and Inclusion. The position is accountable for leading the long term planning and execution of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. The Principal Diversity Consultant will be expected to have the skills to design, develop and implement a diversity strategy. GT & GT HR 2011 People Goals
The Senior Diversity Consultant will work with GT leaders, GT HR, HR COE's and other members of the Diversity department to further D&I functional and enterprise initiatives. This includes consulting, planning and attending internal and external events and conferences (local, national & global). This role includes the coordination and/or facilitation of skills based diversity training's. May lead and facilitate diversity training programs in partnership with the Learning and Organizational Development group.

Job Responsibilities
Increase level of diversity awareness and commitment to hire diverse candidates within assigned client group by presenting demographics, identifying job opening statistics, monitoring exit trends, engaging senior level champions and gaining their commitment to participate in diverse recruitment events. Monitor employment activities such as applicant flow, new hires, terminations, transfers and promotions to identify potential areas of focus and other opportunities to promote diversity initiatives. In partnership with the EEO/Compliance Officer you will deliver annual AAP and EEO Plans to HR and business partners. Which includes advising senior management, including senior officers, on EEO related activities and recommends corrective actions when appropriate. Interpret company wide Diversity and AAP programs, objectives, policies and procedures for managers as well as the HR Business Partners.

Develop and Implement measurable diversity initiatives and strategies to achieve the assigned client groups and corporations business goals with a focus on integration into current business processes. Attend key diversity events for client group.

May lead and facilitate Diversity Training Programs and Develop Diversity Curriculum Materials in partnership with the Learning and Organizational Development Organization.

Have a clear understanding of the business needs and value added to the business by your role. Ability to influence and partner with business leaders to assist in the development and maintenance of corporate Diversity Strategy and initiatives that align with business initiatives.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in human resources management, business or related field. Seven to ten years of Human Resources experience in EEO, Diversity, and Employee Relations. Must have strong presentation skills with sufficient knowledge and experience to provide counsel and recommendations to managers and HR in the area of EEO and Strategic Diversity initiatives. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills. Travel as required.
